The past… we cannot fix it, nor can we change it. We can only learn from it. What you are doing right now, this very moment, will become your past. We all make mistakes and have regrets. We often find ourselves wishing we never spoke words that rolled off our tongue in anger, or did things that hurt those we love. But there it is, we did say it. We did do it. Now we must move on and forgive ourself, and ask Christ to forgive us. We must do our best to learn from our past mistakes. It is time to move forward and honor God’s power of forgiveness by striving to not make the same mistakes again. The word forgive in Hebrew means “to lift up” “to bear” or “to take away.” “Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, for to give repentance to Israel and forgivenesses of sin. Acts 5:31 KJV All we need to do is ask God for help and forgivenesses with an open heart. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you;” Matthew 7:7 KJV Move forward and create a better past by the actions you take today. Actions that you will make you proud and will honor your Heavenly Father.
