As we journey through this thing we call life, there are many choices we make… some small, some large, simple thoughts to complex decisions. Life is full of ups and downs. Many of the challenges we face are based on the decisions we make. The paths presented are based on the roads we selected to travel. Our present day circumstances are ours through God’s choice to give us free will. Let’s not forget that this free will includes the smallest of deeds, such as a friendly smile to a stranger you pass on a crowded street to controlling one’s own temper when presented with an angering situation. Let’s not forget to thank God for presenting us with daily challenges to prove ourselves worthy of His love again and again. Let’s be thankful that our Heavenly Father has a kind and patient heart. Let’s not forget that God’s most important commandment as found in the Holy Bible in the Book of Matthew, Chapter 22 verses 37-39: “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” (KJV)
